Sonic Lost World To Be Released on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS: WATCH THE TRAILER NOW!

Sonic the Hedgehog will roll once again with its latest version, Sonic: Lost World. And it is currently all ready for its release on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS this year.

The Sonic game series from Sega has not been achieving a consistent track record of success when it comes to the quality even though classic game can already be considered a legend as it has been in the gaming market for more than 20 years.

However, the Sonic team seems to be enjoying some victory now, with the Sonic Generations and Sonic Color impressively doing very well in the market. And with Nintendo's newest confirmation about the release of Sonic Lost World this year, this could mean more triumph for the team.

Sega reveals that it will exclusively launch the next three Sonic games on Nintendo gaming platforms, the Nintendo 3DS and the latest gaming console, Wii U. As confirmed, first title will be Sonic Lost World. The President and Chief Financial Officer of Sega of America Inc., Mr. John Cheng, stated, "With 'Sonic Lost World,' we're going to introduce new gameplay and enemies, which is always fun. In terms of Sonic and his friends, he'll have his same friends there, and I think there'll be some new ones as well. It's not a reiteration. It's going to be all new."

With Sonic Lost World, the development team is taking the concept for the design to the next level as they play to blend 2D and 3D mechanics, which makes it more advanced than the similar game play for another exclusive Nintendo game, Super Mario Galaxy.

Sega also shares that there are more than 75 million Sonic games and mobile apps already sold worldwide.
