AOMG has finally unveiled the mysterious artist in its "coming up next" teaser videos - and it is none other than GOT7's main dancer and maknae, Yugyeom!
GOT7 Yugyeom Confirmed to be AOMG's New Artist
On Feb. 17 and 18, Jay Park's hip hop label, AOMG, released a "coming up next" teaser video per day, which made fans wonder who the male idol is in the clip. Many speculated that it could be GOT7 Yugyeom, who was previously reported to be signing with the agency following his departure from JYP Entertainment.
And it turns out that their guess is correct.

On Feb. 19 at midnight KST, AOMG took to its official SNS accounts to announce that GOT7's main dancer is their new artist. The label wrote, "AOMG has a new beginning with artist Yugyeom. We ask for your interest in Yugyeom's various musical content to be shown with AOMG in the future."
AOMG Releases "FRANCHISE" Dance Visual Video Featuring GOT7 Yugyeom
Together with the announcement is a short clip that shows the "Breath" singer in the same place like in the first two "coming up next" teaser videos. A link to view the entire video was also shared.
Titled "'FRANCHISE Dance Visual'," the video presents GOT7 Yugyeom showcasing his excellent dancing skills along with other talented dancers. Just 30 minutes after the video was uploaded, it quickly gained more than 100,000 views.
AOMG's new artist has also updated his personal Instagram account, uploading the two "coming up next" teaser videos and the "FRANCHISE" dance visual video, which he also posted via his Instagram stories. It appears that removing of photos on his Instagram account served as an immense clue that the former JYP Entertainment artist is ready to kick off a new chapter of his career.

And to welcome him to AOMG, Jay Park has already teamed up with Kim Yugyeom in a short dance cover, which Jay shared via his personal Twitter account, alongside the caption, "Welcome the fam."
Fans are now congratulating the "Hard Carry" singer and so are his members. In the comments, GOT7' leader JB wrote, "Oh oh ~~~~" with two fire emojis. Youngjae wrote, "Aya Kim Yugyeom~~~~~," while BamBam commented, "You are the best my skrrt." Meanwhile, Mark Tuan shared the "dance visual" video of Kim Yugyeom via his personal Twitter account.
GOT7 Yugyeom's Time under JYP Entertainment
Kim Yugyeom became a trainee under JYP Entertainment in late 2010 or early 2011. After three years of training, he made his debut on Jan. 16, 2014 as the main dancer and youngest yet tallest member of the seven-member boy group, GOT7. In the band's releases, the male idol took part in writing and composing some songs including "See The Light," "No Jam," and "Don't Care."
In 2016, GOT7 Yugyeom participated in Mnet's dance survival show "Hit the Stage," together with other well-known idols such as NCT Ten, Girls Generation's Hyoyeon, Kim Chungha, and more. In the final episode of the contest, he was declared the winner.

In 2019, he debuted as part of the duo Jus2, along with his fellow member JB, with a mini-album titled "Focus." Last year, he competed in the singing competition program "King of Mask Singer" as a participant named "Raspberry Wine."
