Following the posting of the BTS member's selfie, the keyword Jiminie trended and was listed on the social media site's Worldwide trends list. The said keyword, which is a moniker fans have assigned to Jimin, also made it to the local trending lists in Peru, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, and the United States of America.
BTS member Jimin also trended on Japan's Twipple real-time celebrity rankings, alongside the keywords cute, cute Jimin, and Jimin is cute. The singer peaked at No. 2 on the said list, early Monday.
If that is not enough, Jimin also became one of the most talked-about topics among South Korean online communities. Some netizens adored the new hairdo of the BTS member, saying that he looks younger and pretty.
The latest selfie of BTS member Jimin, as of this writing, already garnered more than 1.5 million likes and more than 709,700 comments on Twitter. The statistics are expected to increase as most of the singer's fans continue to talk about it on social media.

Meanwhile, avid followers of BTS member Jimin have another reason to celebrate the idol after he topped the latest Individual Idol Brand Rankings by the Korean Business Research Institute in February. Jimin remained in the No. 1 spot with a total of 10,940,994 brand reputation index.
Among the most popular phrases in Jimin's keyword analysis include "Christmas Love," "Filter" and "ARMY." Also, the words "surpass," "release" and "perfect" were linked to the "Boy with Luv" hitmaker.
Coming close in the second place is Kang Daniel, who amassed a total of 10,679,813 brand reputation index. ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo, BLACKPINK member Jennie and BTS member V rounded up the top five list after securing the third, fourth, and fifth spots, respectively.
