GOT7 Yugyeom is known to be part of the '97 line group in K-pop, which means he is among the idols who was born in 1997. Recently, he revealed the birthday gift he received from his close '97 line friends which is one of his most cherished items.
GOT7 Yugyeom Talks about His Favorite Belongings with ELLE Korea
On Feb. 23, ELLE Korea released a new video on their YouTube channel featuring AOMG's new artist, GOT7 Yugyeom. The "If You Do" singer sat down to show the most cherished items while giving them a cute nickname for the channel's segment, "my Name Tag." This marks his first official activity since joining Jay Park's hip hop label, AOMG.

To begin the segment, Kim Yugyeom presents his pair of earphones, which he nicknamed "Shred." The second item is his iPhone with a broken screen protector. He explained, "I'm not good at taking care of my phone. I've changed it around five times already. I will name it 'hammer.'"
The GOT7 member then shows a black sentimental bag he received from a fan. "This bag has traveled the most. I received it as a gift from one of my fans. I think it's about five to six years old," he shared.

Later during the interview with ELLE Korea, GOT7 Yugyeom reveals the birthday gift he got from his '97 line friends - a lovely Cartier bracelet. The "Never Ever" singer said, "I received this for my birthday. BTS Jungkook, SEVENTEEN Mingyu, NCT Jaehyun, and ASTRO Eunwoo, the four of them chipped in together to buy it for me."

The GOT7 member simply nicknamed the Cartier bracelet "97" since it was a present given by his '97 line friends. What made fans' hearts melt more is that when Yugyeom shows off the gift and said to the camera, "Are you watching? I wear this every day."
Moving on, the singer also unveiled the gift he got from his bandmate BamBam, who is also part of the '97 line group - a Rolex watch.

The '97 line group in K-pop is made up of eight male K-pop idols, namely BTS Jungkook, ASTRO Cha Eunwoo, NCT Jaehyun, GOT7 members Kim Yugyeom and Bambam, and SEVENTEEN members Mingyu, The8, and DK. Not to mention, this group of '97 liners is one of the most well-known and a favorite among fans because of their solid bond.
These artists even have an exclusive group chat where they communicate with each other whenever they want. Plus, they can be seen hanging out together whenever they have the time to do so. These singers usually upload selfies showing them together in various eating places via their personal SNS accounts. SEVENTEEN Mngyu, in particular, is frequently seen posting photos of them together via his Instagram account. Additionally, these '97 line friends are often spotted together backstage at music shows or any event.
