A new K-pop boy group called OMEGA X is set to make its debut under SPIRE Entertainment, and it will be made up of former survival show contestants and current idols.

SPIRE Entertainment Drops Teasers for the Debut of its New Boy Group OMEGA X
On March 2, the Korean company took to Twitter to announce that they will be launching an idol group that will be called OMEGA X. Along with the announcement is a teaser image that shows the tagline "Your Boys Have Comeback 2021," as well as the silhouette of the 11 members of the new boy group.
The group's name, OMEGA X, is derived from the Greek alphabet Omega, which means "the end" or "final," and carries the meaning that the team aims to be the "final boss" in the K-pop industry. SPIRE Entertainment has also shared a date when they will reveal the identities of the members through more teasers starting from March 15 at midnight KST.
In the comment section of the Twitter post, fans expressed their excitement for the upcoming debut of OMEGA X, with the thinking that their favorite trainees in survival shows and biases from existing boy groups will be given a chance to be more known. Some fans even hope that the new boy group will be composed of members of the disbanded project group X1.

A trailer was also posted on the label's official website and YouTube channel. In the 15-second teaser video, the narrator said that the new boy group OMEGA X is coming to change everything in ways that no one has seen before.
What will OMEGA X be comprised of?
The new K-pop boy group will be consists of a total of 11 members and is known as an Avengers-class project group. The members are either former survival shows contestants or main pillars of existing boy groups. And because of these assets, OMEGA X is expected to showcase excellent performances and unique visuals.
SPIRE Entertainment commented, "We will introduce OMEGA X's universe in a way that will delight fans from all over the world. We would like to ask for your support and interest in OMEGA X's future activities."

OMEGA X will be the first act to debut under SPIRE Entertainment, which also seems to be a new company in South Korea as its Twitter account only has a few followers and its YouTube channel only has the teasers for the group's debut. Since the members are yet to be revealed, curiosity and interest in the idols are increasing.
The new boy group is now added to the list of debuting artists this year, which includes DSP Media's MIRAE, Rain Company's Ciipher, RBW's PURPLE KISS, A.CONIC's Wizard of the World, and last but not the least, BLACKPINK Rosé. More details about OMEGA X are yet to be revealed, so stay tuned!
