Baekhyun's Solo Career + EXO Reportedly Preparing for Their 10th Anniversary Album
Baekhyun is a monumental member of the supergroup EXO, but he is also writing the best and first records as a soloist.
Baekhyun, who topped the list of solo singer's album sales in 2019 through his solo debut album "City Lights," has achieved a feat of surpassing 1 million single album sales in about a month after release through his second mini-album "Delight."
The male singer then became the first K-pop solo artist to achieve this record in 19 years since Kim Gunmo's seventh album in 2001, and he also earned the largest sales record for solo albums in the history of Gaon Chart in 2020 - gaining his "one-top solo" epithet.
In addition, Baekhyun showed a great solo presence in every album he released, ranking No. 1 in 69 regions around the world, No. 1 in the United World Chart, and No. 1 in the digital album sales chart of China QQ Music, and many more.
Aside from being an EXO member and soloist, he also showed incredible performance as the vocalist and leader of the "K-pop Avenger" supergroup, SuperM.
On the other hand, reports say that EXO also gears for their 10th anniversary album, which will apparently happen close to their debut anniversary date on April 8. Though there's still no further details about the group comeback, fans are already anticipating as this will be their first release after EXO D.O. and Xiumin's military discharge.
