More Than 100 Injured From Tornadoes Storms In Oklahoma [Videos]

The tornadoes, storms and other weather elements that have ravaged the Midwest over the last week, have now injured more than a 100 people.

According to the Associated Press, authorities say more than 100 people were injured during a spasm of storms, tornadoes in Oklahoma on Friday.

So far, nine people have died during the tornadoes, storms over the course of the night and into the early dawn.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health reported today that in Oklahoma City-area hospitals, 104 people were treated for injuries.

Of those 104 injured during the storms and tornadoes that came down in one 24 hour period, over half of them were from cuts and pierced skin during the ensuing fracas when storms damaged those buildings that hadn't been destroyed during the tornadoes and storms that struck less than two weeks prior.

The storms, tornadoes struck primarily during rush hour, and caught many motorists trapped coming home from work for the weekend along Interstate 40.

On Friday evening, the National Weather Service reported that "several" tornadoes had come down and rolled across the Tornado-alley prairie of Oklahoma and surrounding areas.

CNN is reporting that once the tornadoes struck, they only killed 5, but afterwards they headed east.
