Nine-piece K-pop boy group CRAVITY has released their second concept photos for the upcoming music video for "Bad Habits."
CRAVITY, through its talent management agency Starship Entertainment, has started promoting the upcoming music video for the B-side track of their latest album "Season 3. Hideout: Be Our Voice" across its social networking sites (SNS). The music video for "Bad Habits" is set for a March 11 release, and is the second single to be launched from the album, following the title track "My Turn" that had its music video premiere on the day of the album release.
The concept photos featured a more mature and serious vibe, showcasing all nine members - Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Woobin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, and Seongmin - in mostly black outfits. In one photo featuring all nine members together, they appear to be in a deserted warehouse - with only concrete pillars and a light source from behind them.
"Bad Habits" serves as the lead B-side track, and was written by their Starship Entertainment labelmate WJSN member Exy, whose real name is Chu So-jung. Exy also wrote the lyrics for the title track "My Turn," earning the unique opportunity of showcasing her versatility as a songwriter, aside from being an active member of WJSN. Whereas "My Turn" is an upbeat dance track, "Bad Habits" exhibits a darker, more mysterious rhythm.
Both tracks come from "Season 3. Hideout: Be Our Voice," first released last January 19. It serves as the third installment for what has been viewed as the super rookie group's musical journey. CRAVITY first made its debut with "Season 1. Hideout: Remember Who We Are" back in April 2020. Soon after its launch, the group began attracting attention as the rookie group to watch out for. Later, in August of the same year, they returned with "Season 2. Hideout: The New Day We Step Into."
As the year ended, CRAVITY only grew even larger, cementing its status as a super rookie group by bagging several year-end awards. They won the "Best of Next" award at the 2020 MAMA Awards, the "New Male Artist of the Year" from the Melon Music Awards, the "Male Potential Artist Award" from the 2020 AAA, and more.
