WOODZ Flaunts Charisma for First Single Album 'SET' + Comeback Online Showcase

"All-rounder" Cho Seungyoun or popularly known as WOODZ, finally made his return with his first single album, "SET," with the title track "FEEL LIKE"!

WOODZ once again showed his unique image and intense sound as a solo artist as he drops his new single album, "SET," on March 15 at 6 p.m. KST on various music sites. Simultaneously, the "all-rounder" singer released the music video for his title track, "FEEL LIKE," drawing attention.

Aside from the release that marked his return after four months, Seungyoun, also known as WOODZ, captured the attention of K-pop enthusiasts with his songs that improve and get better every comeback.

In particular, WOODZ, who just kicked off with his first single album, "SET," wrote three self-composed songs, including the title track "FEEL LIKE," "Touché" (feat Moon), and "Rebound."

The title track "FEEL LIKE" is a combination of the chic baseline, indifferent and sexy guitar riffs, and simple yet detailed drums, which is the track that WOODZ paid attention the most. In addition, the three songs, including the passionate Latin R&B track "Touché" (feat. MOON) and the detailed yet impressive sound and source, "Rebound," are connected as if they were a story, adding to the fun of listening.

WOODZ Talks About Career, Album Preparation, and Self-Improvements on his Comeback Online Showcase

Meanwhile, the solo male artist who continues to aim and expand his musical spectrum held a comeback online showcase this afternoon, prior to his new album release.

WOODZ indeed improved himself by participating in writing and composing his second mini-album "WOOPS!", venturing into other genres as well for a new musical attempt.

In the showcase, the singer revealed his preparations which include studying English, watching sports and movies as he spends time working on his songs. "I made this album with a lot of thought. I felt very different and wanted to express a subtle emotional line and show dramatic changes."

In addition to this, he also confessed that he lost up to 6 percent of his body fat and increased his skeletal muscle to 37 percent for his return stage.

As for his self-improvements, WOODZ talked about immersion, saying, "If there are any change and improvement, it is immersion. I'm very focused on the surrounding environment and I break my immersion a lot. I thought about fixing the habit while working on this work."

Meanwhile, the male idol, who is known for his unique color both on image, concept, and song, also conveyed his confidence with his new album.

He said, "I tried to minimize the disappointment I felt in my last album, so I think I'm very satisfied now. I think it's about 95%. I will let you see the other 5% of the album later on."

When asked about the key point of the album, WOODZ answered that aside from the balanced sound and vocals, the texture of the guitar loop and bass will make listeners enjoy it.

WOODZ, who made a comeback with his first single album, "SET" hoped that his release will contribute happiness to everyone, particularly for his fandom, MOODZ.
