Members of K-Pop girl group WJSN show off their mature and confident charms in the first set of concept photos for their upcoming comeback, "Unnatural."
From March 19 to 20, the members of WJSN appeared in classy black and white outfits against a red curtain background.
First off were concept photos of EXY, Dayoung, Dawon, Yeorum, and Bona. It was followed by those of Luda, Soobin, Yeongjung, Eunseo, and Seola. The first set of concept photos culminate in a group photo of the ten members, featuring a black and white checkered floor. The images have been garnering praise among the fans, as well as a handful of inquiries on how the concept images would ultimately play out once the album releases on March 31.
With "Unnatural," the same ten members will be coming back together since their eighth mini-album, the June 2020 release "Neverland." The members have been pursuing different projects aside from working under various WJSN subunits. Soobin, Dayoung, Yeoreum, and Luda debuted as WJSN Chocome on October 7, 2020, with the single album "Hmph!" with critical and commercial success.
The four-piece subunit won the Idol Unit Category at the 2021 First Brand Awards. Dayoung also made her acting debut with the Kakao TV drama Love Revolution, together with Park Ji Hoon and THE BOYZ member Younghoon.
Leader and main rapper Exy, who had songwriting and composition credits for the "Neverland" single "Tra-La," also co-wrote songs for her fellow Starship Entertainment talents CRAVITY - credited for the songs "My Turn" and "Bad Habits" from the boy group's latest EP "Season 3. Hideout: Be Our Voice."
Meanwhile, Seola sang "Seesaw" with Block B's Park Kyung, one of the original soundtracks for the SBS drama "Backstreet Rookie." She also made her acting debut in the Netflix horror anthology "Goedam."
Together, Exy and Seola also contributed as songwriters and composers in the songs for "Unnatural."
According to a statement from Starship Entertainment, the upcoming album "Unnatural" will be led by its title track of the same name - a song that illustrates that uncomfortable feeling that turns otherwise common actions into awkward ones in the front of the person they like.
