BLACKPINK Jisoo's upcoming drama, "Snowdrop," is on the verge of being canceled if JTBC will not revise its script.
On March 26, Heungil Furniture, a company that signed sponsorship for the female idol's upcoming drama, "Snowdrop," requested sponsorship cancelation.
This is an aftermath of the alleged history distortion that Jisoo and JTBC's drama is currently facing.

JTBC's "Snowdrop Which Stars BLACKPINK Jisoo Received Backlash for Claims of History Distortion
JTBC's "Snowdrop" initially received positive attention even before the broadcast as this will be BLACKPINK Jisoo's first drama wherein she will be the main lead. However, this time, it suddenly attracted criticisms for its script and set, which led Heungil Furniture to cancel its product sponsorship.
On Friday, Heungil Furniture expressed its official position, saying, "We are recently exposed to issues related to 'strengthening the snowdrop' sponsorship, which was recently posted through a community site."
"Our company is just a simple and small company with no marketing team or management team. Thus, we did not receive detailed notice of the script at the time of the sponsorship request, and we did not have the manpower to review and proceed with it, so we agreed to sponsor the simple product without much review."
In this regard, the company asked to delete their furniture sponsorship, and they will also delete "Snowdrop" on their sponsored drama list located on their official website.
As consideration for the pre-produced drama, Heungil Furniture requests minimal exposure if a full deletion is not possible.
Lastly, the company expressed their apology saying, "We apologize for causing concern by proceeding with sponsorship without paying close attention to the drama production company before sponsorship."
Following the SBS drama "Joseon Exorcist" cancellation due to the rage of Koreans with its history distortion, attention is focused if what will be the next step of JTBC to save the drama from the crisis.
In context, Soo Ho (Jung Hae In) will play the role of a Korean student disguised as a college student. Knetz expressed that this is inappropriate as, during the pro-democracy movement, several actual students were hurt for being accused of being a spy.
