As a part of the ongoing craze for Soyou's latest single, "Good Night My Love," the singer shared a cover version made by the Korean power couple Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon.

Soyou shared the "Good Night My Love" cover by the real-life sweethearts Lee Hyori and Lee Sang Soon on her Instagram account on March 23. In her caption, she wrote in Korean: "Second heart attack... I love it... You all worked so hard. You all worked so hard. You all did a great job."

The 2:36 video showed Lee Sang Soon finger-plucking the rhythm to the song with an acoustic guitar before Lee Hyori joins him, with her vocal quality giving the same warmth and charm as Soyou originally does in the track. Performing in what seems to be their kitchen, the guitarist and singer create an intimate feel around their performance.

"Good Night My Love" was released last March 11 and marks the singer's comeback after eight months. It follows her single "Gotta Go," released last July 2020. The song was written and composed by Lee Hyori and Babylon, respectively.

While working on the song, the two artists decided to give the track to Soyou as a gift. Since its release, "Good Night My Love" has received positive reception from fans, thanks to its warm and encouraging message that works well with Soyou's voice.

Since "Good Night My Love" was released, Soyou has been posting a number of short videos with other artists on her social media pages, dubbed the "Good Night My Love Challenge."

In the first entry on her Instagram, she featured actor and comedian Kwun Hyuk-soo singing a verse. As Soyou continues the song, he pretends to fall asleep before breaking into a laugh. The two then extend their greetings to the audience.

WJSN member SeolA also gave her own take on the challenge, with her Starship Entertainment labelmate Soyou writing in the caption: "You have a pretty voice and a pretty face."

The song's composer Babylon, singer-songwriters Brother Su and Yoo Seung-woo, and MONSTA X members Jooheon and Shownu all joined the "Good Night My Love Challenge," which adds different flavors to the song and brings it to their respective fanbases in a show of love and support for Soyou.
