BTS will be releasing a new song in May!
On April 5, according to reports made by Sports Donga, BTS reportedly will be releasing a new single sometime in May.

The group, who has released their Japanese OST song, "Film out" on April 2 KST, revealed in an interview for overseas media that they are "working songs in full swing," raising expectations of fans.
Regarding the exact date on when the new single will be released, no further details have been given.

According to BTS, the group has intentions on releasing a new song in the first half of the year. Due to the pandemic, BTS has not met with their international fans for more than a year. Instead, they have been trying to connect with fans through various contents.
The BTS members are also in the middle of working on personal songs. In fact, member V recently mentioned of his first solo album in the behind-the-scenes teaser video for the group's special album, "BE."
He said, "Because it is my first solo album, I keep getting greedy and the burden is huge."
In addition, the group is also set to release their Japanese album, "BTS, The Best" on June 16 KST.

Prior to this, fellow member, Jungkook took part in the composition of BTS's recent Japanese song, "Film out," along with Iyori Shimizu of Back Number, which took the top spot on iTunes' "Top Song Chart" in 97 countries.

Additionally, "Film out" ranked the highest on Japan's Oricon Chart's "Daily Digital Singles." The song also ranked the highest in Line Music, Mora, AWA, and other major music sits in Japan.

On April 2 KST, BTS Jin and V trended worldwide after the release of their Japanese song, "Film out."
Jin trended for his acting skills, with fans posting about "Actor Jin" on social media sites as he was the main character for the "Film out" music video.
Fans praised the oldest member of BTS for his portrayal of different emotions, such as anguish, desperation, and sadness throughout the music video.
