"Kings of K-pop" BIGBANG G-Dragon is ready to serve his unrelenting fashion icon vibes in eight covers of Dazed Korea!

On April 5, Dazed Korea, the country's leading fashion magazine, announced the legendary collaboration with G-Dragon, the leader of the stellar K-pop group, BIGBANG.

The photos were released earlier, and as soon as K-pop enthusiasts saw the preview of the eight covers, the male star immediately dominated the real-time searches with the hashtags #Jiyong (his real name) and #GDragon.

Fans Got Hit by G-Dragon's Strong Visual in the 8 covers of Dazed Korea

In particular, the Korean magazine selected G-Dragon, who is deemed to be a global K-pop and fashion icon, as the main character of their 13th-anniversary edition.

Dazed Korea said on its official Instagram on this day, "Dazed, who took its first step on the land in April 2008, turned exactly 13 years old in April 2021. For those of you who have supported Dazed and are independent, we have prepared the most Dazed content."

The magazine added, "The main character of the 13th-anniversary edition of Dazed Korea is G-Dragon, the world's most iconic artist who loves music and fashion, enjoys art, and sublimates all these invisible values into life itself."

To commemorate the special event, Dazed x G-dragon worked on eight spread covers and 58 pages of inner print that will contain the idol's artworks and honest answers for the interview that took place in the filming site.

It is expected that G-Dragon will be unveiling stories that will be heard by K-pop fans and supporters for the first time.

As a hint, the magazine is said to feature a variety of photos and interviews of the BIGBANG member, including BMW 4 series and luxury car stories of G-Dragon along with other two artists--- which will all be released in the 13th-anniversary special issue of the magazine.

The excitement of netizens and fans, particularly V.I.P., also escalated more as it is rumored that creative director Ji Eun and photographer Kim Hee Jun participated in the work along with G-Dragon, who wore the spring and summer (SS) collection as Chanel's Global Ambassador.

BIGBANG G-Dragon Draws Anticipation for His Comeback this 2021

Meanwhile, G-Dragon, who was born in 1988, made his debut in 2001 by featuring in "2001 Hip Hop Flex in South Korea".

Since then, he officially made his debut as a Big Bang (BIGBANG) in 2006 after going through YG Family and left several hit songs while working as a group and solo artist, including "Bang Bang Bang," "Fantastic Baby," "Bad Boy," and many more.

In 2019, BIGBANG members, including Taeyang and Daesung, wrapped up their military services, thus drawing anticipation for their major group comeback.

Initially, YG Entertainment revealed that they would have their first return stage through the U.S. music festival, "Coachella," but unfortunately, the event was indefinitely postponed due to the coronavirus.

Though a group comeback is currently not possible, it was reported in November last year that G-Dragon is preparing for a solo comeback this 2021.

Attention is focused on whether he will be able to show his former "music gangster" side or will venture on a new genre for his reported comeback this year.
