AiMan China Index, China's most famous celebrity commercial value analysis platform, has revealed who the most popular Korean celebrities are in the country for the month of Mar. 2021.

EXO's Baekhyun is the Most Popular Idol in China for March 2021

Ranking in the first place, with 334,873 active fans on Weibo, China's biggest social media platform, is EXO and SuperM Baekhyun!

With the number of activities, Baekhyun had in the months leading to Mar. 2021, it is no surprise the EXO member ranked at number one!

On Jan. 3, Baekhyun held his very first solo concert titled "Baekhyun: Light." It was an online concert that was broadcasted through Naver's Beyond Live platform due to COVID-19 regulations.

On Jan. 4, Baekhyun dropped the song "Get You Alone," which is the title track for his self-titled debut Japanese mini-album. The mini-album, "Baekhyun," was released on Jan. 21.

On Mar. 31, Baekhyun released his third Korean-language mini-album, "Bambi."

"Bambi" is Baekhyun's final release before his mandatory military enlistment.

On Apr. 3, Baekhyun revealed to Dispatch he was going to enlist as a public service worker instead of an active-duty soldier due to hypothyroidism, which he has been living with since high school.

BLACKPINK's Rosé is the Most Popular Female Idol in China for March 2021

Rosé is the first female idol mentioned in AiMan China Index's rankings, occupying the fourth place spot. Rosé is reported to have 146,257 active followers on Weibo.

Rosé's rise in popularity is most likely due to her solo debut earlier in Mar. 2021.

On Mar. 12, Rosé officially debuted as a soloist with the single album "-R-," which contains the title track "On The Ground" and the b-side track "GONE."

YG Entertainment first teased Rosé's debut on Jan. 25, sharing a teaser video titled "Coming Soon" to BLACKPINK's YouTube channel, where she is seen performing "GONE." Rosé performed the song in BLACKPINK's first online concert, "THE SHOW," on Jan. 31, prior to its official release.

In China, "-R-" was a huge success, selling 1,000,000 digital downloads just two days after it was released. The single album peaked at the top of the QQ Music Charts, one of China's largest music-streaming platforms. It also did so in other major music sites in China, such as Kuwo Music and Kuguo Music.
