BTS Becomes First K-pop Group to Achieve This Feat in Billboard Global 200 History + Has the Most Entries on Hot 100

BTS is consistently setting outstanding records on the Billboard charts! The septet has recently attained a milestone on the Billboard Global 200 chart, and this makes them the first K-pop group to do so in the chart's history. Additionally, BTS is revealed to have the most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 among the Korean acts.

BTS is the First K-pop Group to Reach This Feat in the Billboard Global 200 History

Billboard Global 200 ranks the most popular songs based on their sales and streaming activities from over 200 countries across the globe, including the United States. Billboard magazine updates the rankings weekly to show the top tracks in a certain week.

On Apr. 13, Chart Data revealed that BTS had earned the title of becoming the first K-pop group to have five top 10 entries on the Billboard Global 200 singles chart. The BTS songs that landed on the chart's top 10 are "Dynamite," "Life Goes On," "Blue & Grey," "Savage Love," and "Film Out."

BTS's "Dynamite" reached the No. 1 position on Billboard's Global 200 chart in its third week, particularly on Oct. 3 last year, with 92.1 million streams and 58,000 downloads sold all over the world.

"Life Goes On" peaked at No. 1 on Dec. 5, 2020, while "Blue & Grey" hit the No. 9 spot on the same day. BTS's "Savage Love" (Laxed - Siren Beat) also scored the top position of the Global 200 chart after landing on No. 8 in September.

"Savage Love" (Laxed - Siren Beat) reigned as No. 1 with 77.5 million global streams and 62,000 global downloads sold in the week ending on Oct. 8. The track is a remix version of "Savage Love" by American singer Jason Derulo and New Zealand music producer Jawsh 685.

BTS's new Japanese song "Film Out" is the new addition to the list. It debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard Global 200 chart dated April 17. "Film Out" is the highest debut on this week's Global 200 singles chart.

BTS is the Korean Artist with the Most Songs That Entered Billboard Hot 100

Billboard Hot 100 ranks releases based on physical and digital sales, online streaming, and radio airplay in the United States. This record chart is the standard by which a track's popularity in the United States is measured.

According to Chart Data on April 13, BTS has landed a total of 20 songs on Billboard Hot 100, making them the Korean act with the most entries on the chart. Singles such as "Dynamite," "MIC Drop," "Boy With Luv," "Fake Love," "DNA," "IDOL," "Life Goes On," "Make It Right," and "ON" are among the BTS songs that made it to the Hot 100.

The newest entry of BTS on the Billboard chart is "Film Out," which debuted at No. 81 on this week's Hot 100. It is the first Japanese entry of the boy group.

Three of these 20 songs peaked at No. 1 on the chart, and these are "Dynamite," "Savage Love" (Laxed - Siren Beat," and "Life Goes On."
