What is "Black Day"?
"Black Day" is celebrated on April 14, just like Valentine's Day on Feb. 14 and White Day on Mar. 14.
On "Black Day," people who did not receive gifts on Valentine's Day and White Day spend time together and eat jjajangmyeon.
In addition, "Black Day" is also called "jjajangmyeon day" because it is a day when single people wear black clothing and eat jjajangmyeon.
There is a theory that "Black Day" originated from black being the opposite color of White Day's "white," so people without lovers wear black clothes and eat food with a black or dark color.
Additionally, there is a theory that "Black Day" can be compared to the color of the heart that was burnt black because one didn't receive a gift on Valentine's Day and White Day.
