BTS Jimin Named 'Best Male Dancer' for the 3rd Time + Beats GOT7 Yugyeom, TVXQ's Yunho, J-Hope, Jungkook and More

BTS member Jimin continues to wow the public with his undeniable talents in singing and dancing, which helped the "Life Goes On" singer has earned numerous awards. On Monday, April 19, it was revealed that the K-pop idol added another color to his banner after he was named the best dancer.

BTS Jimin Wins As 'Best Male Dancer' For 3 Consecutive Years

Jimin became a trending topic on social media again after he, reportedly, won as the DABEME's "Best Male Dancer." The BTS member has dominated the said category for three consecutive years already.

As a matter of fact, BTS Jimin got the title in 2019, 2020 and, most recently, 2021. The award just proved that the co-member of Jin, Jungkook, J-Hope, Suga, RM and V is among, if not the best, the greatest dancers of his generation.

This time around, Jimin garnered a total of 1,052,977 total number of votes, which made him dominate the list. The BTS member defeated other popular K-pop dancers, including Stray Kids member Hyunjin, Super Junior's Donghae, Stray Kids' Felix, EXO member Kai, BTS' Jungkook, Ten, BTS member J-Hope, TVXQ's Yunho and GOT7 member Yugyeom.

Earlier this year, Jimin was also featured on various media outlets because of his exemplary talent in dancing. Indonesian entertainment media IDT Times chose the BTS member as one of the most-stunning main dancers in K-pop. The publication even cited the breathtaking Jimin's dance performance of "I Need U" in 2019.

The Rolling Stone Magazine also made an article about BTS and Jimin after Emmy award-winning television host John Oliver said in his HBO show called "Last Week Tonight" that the plastics industry should be more like BTS. The British comedian-writer even mentioned Jimin, saying that the idol beats up the dance floor every time he takes the center stage.

BTS Jimin's Hashtag #Jimin Surpasses 59 Million Posts on Instagram

Meanwhile, Jimin has also made a new record on Instagram recently. Reports have it that the BTS member's hashtag #Jimin has already broken the 59 million posts mark on the said photo-sharing platform.

Because of this, BTS Jimin was named as the world's most "hashtagable" person on Instagram's history. Though Jimin does not have his own official Instagram page, the group's official account already has more than 40 million followers as of this writing.

If that is not enough, Jimin was also able to beat Brad Pitt in the popularity voting poll called "Who is the Most Handsome, Jimin or Brad Pitt?" Avid followers of the BTS member showed their unwavering love and support to the K-pop idol that he won the poll by a landslide.

Some fans even gave BTS Jimin the "21st Century Brad Pitt" moniker because of his extraordinary resemblance with the Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston's former husband during his younger days.

On Sunday, April 18, it was also reported that Jimin's "Promise" track was able to garner more than 267 million streams on SoundCloud already. The latest feat just made the song one of the most-streamed content on the said platform.
