I.O.I to Reunite Through Live Broadcast on May 4
I.O.I is reuniting! On May 4, 7 PM, KST, I.O.I will hold a live broadcast to celebrate their 5th debut anniversary titled "I.5.I - Yes, I Love It!"
"I.5.I - Yes, I Love It!" contains many messages fans will love. Instead of the O in I.O.I, they used a five to symbolize the group's fifth year anniversary. It shows that they kept their promising of reuniting at their fifth year anniversary.
Additionally, "Yes, I love it!" was I.O.I's official greeting when they were promoting as a project group. The broadcast will be held on May 4—their official debut date.

After being formed through Mnet's "Produce 101 Season 1" in 2016, I.O.I promoted for less than a year and then disbanded, returning to their respective agencies. Though no longer working together as a group, the girls of I.O.I have stayed loyal to their promise of reuniting after five years of their debut and are not shy in interacting with one another.
"I.5.I - Yes I Love It"! will be broadcast live for free through KT Olleh TV, Seezn and, TVING.

The Debut and Disbandment of I.O.I
After competing on Mnet's "Produce 101 Season 1," the girls of I.O.I (Nayoung, Chungha, Sejeong, Chaeyeon, Jieqiong, Sohye, Yeonjung, Yoojung, Mina, Doyeon, and Somi) debuted on May 4, 2016. The girls debuted with their first album, "Chrysalis," and promote the lead single "Dream Girls."

On Jun. 10, 2016, I.O.I announced plans to debut their first sub-unit, which includes Nayoung, Chungha, Jieqiong, Sohye, Yoojung, Doyeon, and Somi. At the time, the other members not included in the sub-unit were promoting with the groups at their respective agencies. On Aug. 9, 2016, the sub-unit debuted with the song "Whatta Man (Good Man)."
On Oct. 17, 2016, I.O.I made their final whole-group comeback with the mini-album "Miss Me?" The title track, "Very Very Very." earned I.O.I their very first music show win as a whole group.
On Jan. 17, 2016. I.O.I released their final single, "Downpour," as a goodbye to fans. I.O.I held a three-day final concert from Jan. 20 to Jan. 22. On Jan. 25, 2017, I.O.I filmed a commercial for school uniform brand Elite with PENTAGON, marking their last schedule as a group.
I.O.I officially disbanded on Jan. 29, with the group closing their fan cafe on Jan. 31.
