BTS's "Dynamite" is the Most Popular K-Pop Music Video for the 17th Week of 2021
BTS's Aug. 2020 release, "Dynamite," has once again climbed up the ranks on the K-Pop Radar "Weekly Top Music Videos" chart, occupying the top spot for this week. From Apr. 18 to Apr. 24, the music video for "Dynamite" garnered 13,251,723 new views on YouTube. This is the fourteenth time "Dynamite" topped the weekly K-pop Radar chart.
When talking about BTS's continuous reign on the charts, K-Pop Radar said, "It is very difficult for one song to take up the top spot for a long time due to the nature of K-pop, where large artists make a comeback every week, and music videos are often concentrated on the first week of its release."

According to K-Pop Radar, the music video for "Dynamite" surpassed one billion views 234 days after its release. This means that "Dynamite" broke the record for the fastest music video to surpass one billion views. BLACKPINK previously held this record for "DDU-DU DDU-DU," which surpassed one billion views 280 days after its release.
Additionally, even after achieving one billion views, the number of views for "Dynamite" continues to rise at an average of 2,320,941 views per day. BTS is expected to continue breaking records with "Dynamite."
BLACKPINK's Rosé's "Gone" is the Second Most Popular K-Pop Music Video for the 17th Week of 2021
Climbing up two spots from last week and occupying the second-place spot is Rosé for her "Gone" music video. From Apr. 18 to Apr. 24, the music video for "Gone" gained 8,585,568 new views on YouTube.

Previously, on Mar. 27, Rosé revealed through Instagram Live that a music video for "Gone" would be released soon. On Mar. 31, both YG Entertainment and Rosé announced on Instagram that the music video would be released in five days. The music video was released on Apr. 4 and garnered 10 million views half a day after the video was released. Within the first 24 hours, the music video surpassed 15 million views, making it the fourth-biggest 24-hour debut for a K-pop female soloist.
