BLACKPINK Rosé's "On The Ground" and "Gone" are the Top Two Biggest K-Pop Song Debuts in 2021 So Far

BLACKPINK Rosé's debut single, "On The Ground," is the biggest K-pop song debut on Spotify for 2021 so far. During the first day of its release, "On The Ground" garnered 4.64 million streams. Within the first week of its release, "On The Ground" collected 6.4 million streams. As of Wednesday, Apr. 28, "On The Ground" has 81,274,161 streams.

"On The Ground" peaked at the 70th spot on the Billboard Hot 100. It is the highest-charting song by a female K-pop soloist in the United States.

"On the Ground" also peaked at number one on the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. charts. In the United Kingdom, "On the Ground" peaked at number 43 on the UK Singles Chart, making "On The Ground" the first and highest-charting song by a female K-pop soloist in the country.

In South Korea, "On The Ground" debuted at number fifteen on the Gaon Digital Chart and shot up to number four the following week.

BLACKPINK Rosé's b-sidetrack, "Gone," is the second biggest K-pop song debut on Spotify for 2021 so far. During the first day of the track's release, "Gone" amassed 4.01 million streams. As of press time, "Gone' currently has 48,883,637 streams on the music platform.

"Gone" debuted at number 49 on the Gaon Digital Chart but shot up to number six the following week. Additionally, "Gone" also debuted at number five on the Billboard K-Pop Hot 100. In the United States, "Gone" debuted at number 15 on the Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart and peaked at number 29 on the Billboard Global 200. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, "Gone" peaked at number 17.

BTS's "Film Out" is the Biggest Song Debut by a K-Pop Boy Group in 2021 So Far

While "Film Out" is a Japanese song, it was released by the K-pop superstars BTS and was included in the list. During the first day of its release, "Film Out" was streamed 2.35 million times. As of press time, "Film Out" has 42,910,165 streams.

In Japan, "Film Out" debuted at number one on Oricon's Daily Digital Singles Chart. "Film Out" debuted at number two on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 and at number one in the Download and Streaming Charts.

In the United States, "Film Out" debuted at number five on the Billboard Global 200, making it BTS's fifth top-10 entry on the said chart.

Additionally, on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart, "Film Out" peaked at number three. On the Billboard Hot 100, "Film Out" debuted at number 81, making it BTS's first Japanese-language song to chart.
