BTS and Justin Bieber to Collaborate on a New Song

According to an exclusive report by media outlet, Page Six, K-Pop superstars BTS and world-renowned singer Justin Bieber are collaborating on a new song together.

According to Page Six's insider, the two mega-hit stars are currently taking their time on the new song to make sure that it is released right. There are also speculations that the new song will be part of Justin Bieber's deluxe release of his recently released album, "Justice," as a way to keep the album on the charts.

This collaboration between the artists seems to be made possible by the merger of their respective agencies, HYBE and Ithaca Holdings by famous music manager, Scooter Braun.

Earlier in this month, BTS's agency, HYBE, revealed that they had acquired Ithaca Holdings through their subsidiary, Big Hit America with 1.7 trillion won ($1.5 billion) worth of shares, making them the biggest shareholder.

Ithaca Holdings houses famous singers such as Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, J Balvin and more.

In a Youtube video posted by HYBE to celebrate the merger between the two companies, BTS and Justin Bieber celebrated with their own messages.

In the video, BTS said that they are happy to have the artists that they cherish and love be a part of the HYBE family. With the merger, they feel as though the world is becoming smaller - especially in music, and that there are no boundaries or limits.

Justin Bieber said that he is excited to be working with different teams to be able to step further into the global music scene.

In the past, both BTS and Justin Bieber have acknowledged each other's success in the music industry.

In multiple interviews, BTS revealed Justin Bieber to be an influence in their music. While Justin Bieber said that if there is anyone who knows how to make history, it is BTS, in an interview with E! News back in 2020.

HYBE has yet to make a statement regarding the collaboration.

BTS to Release "Butter" on May 21

In other news, BTS will be releasing their all-English song, "Butter" on May 21 at 1:00 p.m. KST.

"Butter" will be the second song BTS releases that is completely English, after their hit song, "Dynamite," which was released in August of last year.

The upcoming song will be in the dance-pop genre that will surely fit the summer season.
