The septet's Spotify listeners increased by 93 times compared to the initial number with their previous works. In early April, Play M Entertainment's new girl group only has 1.3 million monthly listeners on Spotify. At the end of that month, the "Zig Zag" singers hit a new peak of 2.4 million monthly listeners, becoming the first K-pop rookies to attain the milestone.

Weeekly's popularity is greater in Indonesia, where most listeners of the rookie group come from. In particular, "After School" has been generating hundreds of thousands of streams across 11 cities in the country including Jakarta, Surabaya, Bandung, and Sraman. Other listeners of the septet come from the United States, Malaysia, the Philippines, Canada, and Brazil.

The title track also reached the top of the Spotify Indonesia Viral 50 chart for several days. As of May 5, the song climbed down to No. 3. What's more, Weeekly's "After School" peaked at No. 30 on Spotify's Global Top 200 on May 3. On May 5, Play M Entertainment's new K-pop girl group ranked fifth on the Global Viral 50.

Weeekly Sees Increase in YouTube Views and TikTok Followers

Aside from Spotify listeners, Weeekly also gained more views on YouTube. The music video for "After School" surpassed 45 million views with one million likes as of May 5. Considering that the septet has ended their activities for their new album, "We Play," the constant rise in views is significantly meaningful for a rookie group.

Meanwhile, the official TikTok channel of the band has reached 750,000 followers as of May 5. What makes this more impressive is that it is almost triple of their initial followers just less than two months ago when they dropped their "We Play" album on March 17.
