Cast & Production Staff of 'Kingdom' Tests Negative for COVID-19, THE BOYZ Juyeon, SF9 Yoo Taeyang & iKON DK to Continue Isolation
Previously on May 6, KST, Mnet announced to multiple media outlets that a backup dancer who participated in the May 4 recording of "Kingdom: Legendary War" tested positive for COVID-19.
As a precautionary measure and as per health guidelines issued by the Korean government, all cast such as ATEEZ, BTOB, iKON, THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, SF9, and the production crew who participated in the recording will be undergoing self-isolation and testing.

On May 7, KST, it was announced that the production staff all tested negative in their results. In addition, BTOB, THE BOYZ, Stray Kids, ATEEZ, iKON, and SF9 were revealed to all have tested negative as well, as per the announcement of their individual agencies.
However, it was revealed that THE BOYZ's Juyeon, SF9's Yoo Taeyang, and iKON's DK would be continuing their self-isolation for two weeks after it was revealed that the members had close contact with the backup dancer in question.
SF9's agency, FNC Entertainment, said that the group had conducted their tests for COVID-19 on May 6 and that all their staff and members received negative results. However, Yoo Taeyang was classified as a close contact according to the internal investigation conducted by both the agency and Mnet. As such, Yoo Taeyang will be going into self-isolation, while the remaining members of SF9 will continue with their scheduled activities.

Cre.ker Entertainment announced that all members of THE BOYZ, including Juyeon, tested negative as well and will resume their scheduled activities. However, Juyeon was also classified as a close contact and will need to monitor him for two weeks. Juyeon's scheduled activities, such as being a radio DJ for EBS, will be put on hold in the meantime.
In addition, iKON's agency, YG Entertainment, announced on May 7 KST that iKON member DK received negative results for his COVID-19 testing but will also undergo two weeks of self-isolation until May 18 KST after being identified as a close contact with the backup dancer.

Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" is the sequel of "Road to Kingdom." The reality-survival show features six of South Korea's top boy groups, where they compete through various performances that are segmented into four rounds. The final round of the show will be held through a live broadcast.
