SEVENTEEN's comeback was reported to be taking place in June. Pledis Entertainment has since responded to the news.
SEVENTEEN Reported to Make a June Comeback + Pledis Entertainment Issues a Response
On May 10, Iglan Sports reported that an industry official told them about SEVENTEEN making a comeback in June. The official alleged that the boy group is already in the final stage of preparing a new album.
Shortly after the news, the management agency of the "Very Nice" singers, Pledis Entertainment, told Newsen that the comeback date has not been decided yet, and an official notice will be given when the boy group's schedule has been set.

If SEVENTEEN would proceed with their June comeback, it would be their first comeback after eight months since the release of their special album "; [Semicolon]" in October last year.
At that time, the boy group made headlines as their "Semicolon" recorded more than 1.06 million copies in pre-orders alone.
Following their seventh mini-album "Heng:garæ" which also sold over one million copies, the boy group has earned a "double-million seller" title.
SEVENTEEN's 2021 Activities So Far
SEVENTEEN has been active globally in the past few months, mainly in the United States and Japan.
On Jan. 7, the group delivered an outstanding performance of "HOME;RUN," the title track of their special album "Semicolon," on the American talk show "The Late Late Show with James Corden."
On Jan. 13 (local time), the group made their first guest appearance on another American television show called "The Kelly Clarkson Show." They performed "Left & Right," the title track of their mini-album "Heng:garæ."
On April 1, SEVENTEEN once again wowed the US audience after they put on an epic performance of their powerful 2019 single "HIT" on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show." This is their first time to appear on the said American talk show.
On April 21, the band launched their third Japanese single album "Hitori Janai," which translates to "Not Alone."
This album entered numerous domestic and international charts upon release. Not to mention, SEVENTEEN has become the first K-pop idol this 2021 to reach the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Japan Hot 100.

In addition to this, "Hitori Janai" is now the group's second-bestselling album in Japan as it has recorded more than 300,000 copies in the first week, beating their previous record of over 250,000 copies with their first single album "Happy Ending."
Furthermore, SEVENTEEN has earned their first-ever nomination at the Billboard Music Awards. The band is one of the artists running for the "Top Social Artist" award, together with BLACKPINK, BTS, Ariana Grande, and SB19.
This nomination shows how the group has solidified their presence in the US market.

SEVENTEEN is currently broadcasting their "GOING SEVENTEEN 2021," the fifth season of their variety show "GOING SEVENTEEN," which is about the group carrying out activities, challenges, and everything they could think of.
The first episode of the fifth season premiered on April 14. Fans can watch the show via SEVENTEEN's official YouTube channel. So far, the band has dropped three episodes.
