Mark Tuan Reveals His Skincare Routine in Interview with Allure
During his interview with Allure, Mark mentioned how, back in South Korea and as an idol, he was not under the sun a lot and constantly had people touching up his make-up and hair.
However, now that he is back home in America, the idol is learning just how much sunblock is necessary and what he should do with his hair. He reveals that he tends to just wear a hat since he has no idea how to style his locks.
Mark's skincare routine, however, is similar to most K-pop idol's skincare routines. He starts off with a face wash, then applies toner and moisturizer. Sometimes, he wears a sheet mask and even uses a face scrub.
As the seasons change, Mark's sensitive skin breaks out. To combat pimples, he makes use of pimple patches.
However, he revealed the essential part of his skincare routine is drinking lots of water. He states that drinking lots of water just clean everything out for him. The idol also splurges on weekly dermatologist appointments for medical facials.

Mark, however, believes he does not have good skin. When asked what he considers smooth skin, the idol replied, "super clear, buttery smooth."
Despite him saying he does not have good skin, the idol has stated that he accepted his skin for what it is after having his skin constantly caked his foundation and sparkles.
He believes that people do not need to worry about breaking out, and what truly matters is who they are as people at the end of the day.
Appearances, overall, are not that important.
This does not mean that Mark has shut down wearing make-up in the future, however. He has stated that it is all about time and place. As the GOT7 member has no idea how to apply make-up, he also has no idea how it should look.
Instead, Mark puts his trust in make-up artists he works with and allows their imagination to run wild.
