ITZY has broken the tie with TWICE and aespa in terms of having the most songs to enter the Billboard Global 200.
Billboard Global 200 is a weekly chart that ranks songs by artists from around the world based on online streaming and digital sales in more than 200 territories. It is different from Billboard 200 since Billboard 200 ranks albums and extended plays while Billboard Global 200 focuses on tracks.
ITZY Surpasses TWICE and aespa in Terms of Most Entries on the Billboard Global 200
On May 11, Billboard revealed the latest rankings of their charts for the week ending on May 15. Among them is the weekly ranking of the most popular songs all over the world, the Billboard Global 200.
ITZY, who recently made their comeback with a new album titled "GUESS WHO," made it to the list. Their new song "Mafia in the Morning" debuted on the Billboard chart, taking the quintet to a new high.

On May 17, Forbes revealed that ITZY has broken the tie with TWICE and aespa on the Billboard Global 200. Since this is not the first time ITZY entered the global chart, they have now surpassed the number of entries of their two fellow K-pop girl groups.
"Mafia in the Morning" charted at No. 34 on Billboard Global 200 for the week dated May 15. It is now ITZY's second song to land on the said chart, following their previous release "Not Shy," which peaked at No. 124 in September last year.
Since the quintet has doubled their total appearances on the Billboard chart, ITZY has now become the second K-pop girl group to make it to the ranking more than once, following world-renowned BLACKPINK.

Previously, ITZY was tied with TWICE and aespa, having only one song that entered the Billboard Global 200 chart. TWICE's "I CAN'T STOP ME" soared to No. 31 and lasted for a total of 15 weeks on the chart before falling off.
Meanwhile, rookie group aespa charted on Billboard Global 200 with their smash hit "Black Mamba," which debuted at No. 183 and rose to No. 138 in its second week on the chart.
BLACKPINK, on the other hand, has landed a total of 10 tracks on the said Billboard chart. Almost all of the songs coming from their first full-length album "THE ALBUM" became the quartet's entries.
Some of these are "How You Like That," "Lovesick Girls," "Ice Cream," "Pretty Savage," and "Kill This Love."
ITZY to Release "GUESS WHO" Limited Edition + Takes Home 5th Win for "Mafia in the Morning"
In other news, ITZY has announced on May 17 that they will be releasing a limited edition of their comeback album "GUESS WHO." The album is now available for pre-orders and interested fans can purchase them on various record stores. The physical album is due out on May 28.

In addition to that, ITZY has recently taken home their fifth music show trophy for their new song "Mafia in the Morning." On May 16, the quintet won first place on SBS's "Inkigayo" with total points of 7,391, beating Highlight's "NOT THE END" and Brave Girls' "Rollin'."
