Dumb Ways To Die App Is Now A Huge Success - From A Viral Video Campaign To A Top Free iPhone App

The game app Dumb Ways To Die is now part of the top 10 free apps from the Apple App Store, since its recent release this May.

These past few weeks, many players have already experienced the odd yet fully entertaining characters from the game Dumb Ways To Die, making it one of the top 10 free apps for iPhone, iPod and Ipad users. More than 11,000 of Dumb Ways to Die players have already rated the game app and it already garnered a current average rating of 4.5 stars.

The goal of the game is to help a certain character in each level to escape from strange yet fatal situations. Instructions for each level are different depending on the characters and scenario that will appear, thus players really need to focus and pay attention while playing Dumb Ways to Die. Some of the game plays are: balance the wobbling glue eater, swat wasps, flick the private-parts-eating piranhas, and remove the forks from the toasters, and a lot more.

But Dumb Ways to Die is not dumb at all, because there is a message behind all the funny and adorable characters and the addicting game play of the app. Dumb Ways to Die started originally as a public service announcement campaign by the Metro Trains in Melbourne, Australia promoting rail safety. The campaign video that was launched became viral shortly after its launch through online sharing and social media, getting more than 47 million view as of press time.

Just last month, the Metro Trains Melbourne Pty Ltd released a Dumb Ways to Die game app inviting the players to avoid the dangerous activities done by the characters included in the campaign. Furthermore, the players can also pledge within the app that they would not do dumb and silly things when they are around trains to avoid accidents and deadly scenarios.
