BTS's Debut Song "No More Dream" Surpasses 200 Million Views on Youtube

BTS's debut song "No More Dream" music video that was released on June 12, 2013, as part of their debut album "2 COOL 4 SKOOL," has surpassed 200 million views on Youtube at around 10:40 am on May 22 KST, making it their 20th music video to do so.

As of this writing, their music video has 200,248,114 views with more than 5.6 million likes.

BTS's "No More Dream" is a reinterpretation of hip-hop sounds from the 1990s to fit the time in 2013 and contains a heavy bass performance at the beginning of the song. Their music video features BTS jumping out of school and onto the streets, which depicts a deviation from societal norms such as tearing up their report cards and walking around on the streets.

Earlier, on the same day, BTS's music video for their new song "Butter" had surpassed 100 million views in just 21 hours after its release. In addition, on May 21, "Interlude: Shadow" also achieved a new milestone of surpassing 100 million views a year after its release.

BTS to Hold Online Concert for 8th Anniversary

On May 22 KST, BTS announced on their official social media that they will be holding an online concert for the eight anniversary since their debut, which will be their fan meeting, "BTS 2021 MUSTER Sowoozoo."

"BTS 2021 MUSTER Sowoozoo" will be held on June 13 and 14 at 6:30pm KST through online streaming, so fans all over the world can join BTS. In addition, their online concert on June 14 will be similar to their world tour, with the group performing what they performed on tour with minor changes in the set list.

It has almost been two years since BTS held a "MUSTER," which they have been holding since 2014. In 2020, due to the global pandemic, BTS was not able to hold a "MUSTER" for their seventh anniversary. Instead, they held an online streaming festival called "Bang Bang Con" and a live online performance, "Bang Bang Con The Live."
