Jessica Jung Allegedly Celebrates Birthday With Girls Generation's Sunny and Yoona
On May 21, Jessica Jung uploaded a video that showed her celebrating her birthday month. The video initially made headlines when it was discovered that Jessica had spent the fifth day of her birthday month with BLACKPINK member Jennie.
Now, however, the same vlog is making headlines for another reason.

Fans have recently re-visited the vlog and spotted some familiar voices at the very start of the video. As the video begins, Jessica is seen wishing in front of a cake while clutching balloons.
As the video zooms into Jessica, closing her eyes and preparing to blow the candles, friends who are not in the frame can be heard — and they could potentially be the voices of Sunny and Yoona!
The conversation goes:
"Sunny: Your wishes are really that long?
Jessica: Yes, I want to wish for them all!
Sunny: It is not just a couple [of wishes]?
Yoona: There are 10 [wishes], isn't it? It is 10!"
As the clip began to make its rounds online, fans began to put on their detective caps. Many believed it was both Sunny and Yoona at the beginning of the video. Some said they could only detect one or the other's voices, but that they were confident a Girls' Generation member was there to celebrate Jessica's birthday!
Others also noted that they could hear Seohyun in the video! As Jessica closes her eyes to make a wish, someone is heard saying "Wish!" in Korean, which is pronounced "sowon." Coincidentally, it has the same pronunciation as Girls' Generation's fandom name, SONE.
If fans' speculation is correct, then it would mean that Yoona, Sunny, and maybe even Seohyun were celebrating Jessica's birthday together!
The very thought has excited fans, and Jessica has not publicly seen any member of Girls' Generation since her departure from the group in 2014.
If true, this would be the first time that members of the group reunited with Jessica publicly.

Jessica Jung's Departure from Girls' Generation
Back in Sept. 2014, Jessica shared a lengthy post on her personal Weibo account claiming that she had been "forced out" of Girls' Generation. SM Entertainment later confirmed this, saying that Jessica would no longer be promoting as a Girls' Generation member and that the group would continue as eight members.
According to SM Entertainment, Jessica left Girls' Generation due to conflicts between her personal schedules and group schedules. On the other hand, Jessica released a statement through her fashion company, Blanc Group, stating that she had been asked to leave Girls' Generation by the agency and the group members.
Jessica's final song with Girls' Generation was "Divine," which was included in the group's repackaged version of their Japanese greatest hits album, "The Best."
SM Entertainment managed Girls' Generation's solo activities until Aug. 2015. In Feb. 2016, she signed with Coridel Entertainment and has since pursued a solo career.
