ITZY's "GUESS WHO" Surpasses 330,000 Album Sales on Gaon
ITZY's "GUESS WHO" album, which was released on April 30, 2021, had recorded a cumulative sales of 330,000 album copies on May 28, based on the Gaon Charts.
As of April 28, the album had surpassed the pre-order amount of 260,000 album copies, far exceeding the record of ITZY's previous third mini-album, "Not Shy," which recorded 200,000 album copies for pre-order. Based on the Hanteo Chart, the album sales of "GUESS WHO" in its first week broke their previous record with 201,130 album copies sold.
The pre-order of the limited edition album of "GUESS WHO," which began on May 17, immediately sold out after going live, proving ITZY's power as a fourth-generation girl group.
With that, "GUESS WHO" became the second best-selling album in May 2021, following behind NCT DREAM's "Hot Sauce."

On May 28 at 7 pm KST, the five members of ITZY appeared on Naver NOW's special live, "Day and Night with ITZY," where the group had talked about their "GUESS WHO" album.
According to the members, the album is filled with new attempts and challenges. While ITZY was preparing for the album, they revealed that they were worried about what fans would think of it, but at the same time, "GUESS WHO" gave them the opportunity to show that ITZY had grown a bit more.
In addition, the members revealed that they feel proud to become a group that a lot of fans are anticipating, and with the love being given to them, ITZY will continue to work hard to return with better music and stages.
"GUESS WHO," which contains the title song "Mafia in the Morning," gained a lot of popularity both domestic and global. It entered the US Billboard's main chart, Billboard 200, at no.148 for the first time. The group also entered the Artist 100 chart at no.99, entering two of Billboard's three main charts at the same time.

The album also succeeded in charting in other Billboard categories, such as World Album, Current Album Sales, and Independent Album.
On Spotify, the major music streaming platform, "Mafia in the Morning," entered the Global 200 chart at no.79 on its first day of release, surpassing their highest ranking recorded by "Not Shy" at no.82 back in August 2020. In addition, "Mafia in the Morning" rose to no.56 in the chart on May 3.
ITZY's music video for "Mafia in the Morning" also broke its own record by surpassing 100 million views on Youtube in just 22 days and 11 hours after its release.
As of this writing, "Mafia in the Morning" currently has 110,330,083 views.
