During the Mnet program "TMI News," a video of BIGBANG member G-Dragons face edited over Seungri's body has made rounds and caused backlash among fans.

Mnet Under Fire for Editing BIGBANG G-Dragon's Face on Seungri's Body
On the Jun. 3 airing of Mnet's program "TMI News," BIGBANG member G-Dragon was featured as one of the idols who had to pay a high tuition amount during his time as a student.
G-Dragon's addition initially positively caught the fans' attention, but after seeing the video, many were enraged due to Mnet's editing.

In the video, Mnet makes use of a clip from BIGBANG's music video for "Sober." In the scene, Seungri is seen with money around him, falling from the air.
Though the music video initially shows Seungri, Mnet had taken the time to edit Seungri's head over the former BIGBANG member's body.
Many believe that Mnet had used these clips of Seungri and edited G-Dragon's head over it to exaggerate the latter's wealth. However, many believe that the staff could have easily found other photos and clips that could have shown off how rich the "CROOKED" singer actually is.

As Seungri had left YG Entertainment and announced his retirement from the entertainment industry, many were under the impression that using clips and photos that feature him would be little to none. Many believe that using another person's image and inserting someone's face is incredibly disrespectful, especially when one of the parties is currently involved in a legal battle.
Additionally, many believe that G-Dragon, who is known as the "King of K-pop," deserves to be respected no matter the relationship between YG Entertainment and Mnet.
