INFINITE's Sungyeol Signs With Management 2sang

On June 7 KST, it was reported that fellow INFINITE member, Sungyeol, has signed with INFINITE member, L, now commonly known as Kim Myung Soo's, label Management 2sang.

According to Management 2sang's CEO, Kim Moon Sam, Sungyeol is an artist with an infinite amount of potential who can promote in various fields of entertainment, such as variety shows, music, acting, and more. The CEO adds that they will provide all their support to Sungyeol so that he can release all of his charms to his heart's desires.

Sungjong Renews Contract With Woollim Entertainment

On the same day, INFINITE's original agency, Woollim Entertainment, had announced that fellow INFINITE member, Sungjong, has decided to renew his contract based on the deep trust that the two parties have built over the years, and that they are happy to continue their connection with INFINITE member.

With Sungjong renewing his contract with Woollim Entertainment, this marks the "The Chaser" singer's eleventh year with the label since the group's debut in 2010. Woollim Entertainment announces that they will continue to be a reliable source of support for Sungjong, and provide their full support in the latter's future activities as a multi-entertainer.

Meanwhile, Sungyeol, Sungjong, Dongwoo, and Sunggyu will be holding a special V-Live on June 9 at 9pm KST to commemorate the group's eleventh debut anniversary. However, fellow INFINITE members L and Woohyun are unable to participate in the celebration and V-Live as they are currently serving for their mandatory military service.

INFINITE's Departure From Woollim Entertainment

INFINITE made their debut in 2010 with their first mini-album, "First Invasion," under Woollim Entertainment as a seven-member group, which consists of Sunggyu, Sungjong, Dongwoo, Sungyeol, Woohyun, L, and Hoya. Hoya later left the group and the label in 2017 after deciding not the renew contracts, while the rest stayed.

L was then the next member who decided not to renew contracts after his exclusive contract with Woollim Entertainment expired on August 18, 2019. He stated in an Instagram post that his decision was in order to take on new challenges, however, he clarified that he is still a part of INFINITE.

Following L's departure and with the remaining members finally completing their mandatory military service, Sunggyu was next in not renewing his contract. On March 6, 2021, Sunggyu left Woollim Entertainment, followed by Dongwoo and Sungyeol on March 31.

As Woohyun is still serving his military service, it has not yet been revealed whether he will renew with Woollim Entertainment.
