TWICE has earned their biggest debut on Billboard 200 with their latest album "Taste of Love," and they have even achieved an outstanding feat that made them the first female K-pop act to do so.

TWICE is the First Female K-pop Act to Gain This Billboard 200 Milestone with "Taste of Love"
On June 20 local time, Billboard announced the albums that debuted in the Top 10 of Billboard 200 for the week ending on June 26, and one of those is TWICE's new mini-album "Taste of Love."

According to Billboard, TWICE's "Taste of Love" entered at No. 6 on the famous Billboard 200, a weekly chart ranking the 200 most popular albums and extended plays in the United States.
This achievement marks TWICE's biggest debut on the said Billboard chart, as well as their first time ranking inside the Top 10 of Billboard 200.
TWICE made their first appearance on Billboard 200 with "MORE & MORE," which debuted at No. 200. Later on, the group's latest full-length album, "Eyes Wide Open," entered at No. 72.
On top of this, TWICE has become the first female K-pop act in history to have their mini-album chart within the Top 10 of Billboard 200.

"Taste of Love" is also only the second overall release by a female Korean act to rank in the Top 10 of the Billboard chart. The first one to do so is BLACKPINK's first full-length album "THE ALBUM," which debuted at No. 2 in October 2020.
Billboard has also revealed that TWICE's new mini-album "Taste of Love" recorded the most sales among the albums in the past week.
MRC Data (formerly called Nielsen Music) announced that TWICE's new mini-album "Taste of Love" attained 46,000 total equivalent album units within the week ending on June 17. This is more than thrice the amount the group's previous album "Eyes Wide Open" achieved last year (14,000).
The total score for TWICE's "Taste of Love" is composed of 43,000 regular album sales and 3,000 streaming equivalent album (SEA) units - which equals 5.09 million on-demand audio streams of all the six tracks in the mini-album.

In other news, TWICE has recently made their second appearance on Billboard Global 200 with a new song. For the week ending on June 19, TWICE's "Alcohol-Free" debuted at No. 176 on the chart.

The group's first song to land on the Billboard chart is "I Can't Stop Me," the title track from their full-length album "Eyes Wide Open." This song climbed to No. 31 and has become one of the longest-charting K-pop releases, staying on the ranking for a total of 15 weeks.
With this, TWICE now joins BLACKPINK, aespa, and ITZY as the only K-pop girl group to enter Billboard Global 200 with different songs more than once.
BLACKPINK has charted 10 different tunes on the chart including "Lovesick Girls," while aespa landed their two singles "Black Mamba" and "Next Level." Meanwhile, ITZY entered with "Not Shy" and "Mafia in the Morning."
