TWICE Tzuyu melody project has been released and it comes with the participation of Stray Kids Bang Chan.

TWICE Tzuyu Releases Cover of Taylor Swift "ME!" for Melody Project

On June 28 at midnight KST, TWICE's youngest member Tzuyu dropped her rendition of Taylor Swift's hit track "ME!" as part of the group's Melody Project.

TWICE Tzuyu teamed up with Stray Kids Bang Chan for this version of the song, which was released together with a music video, where she stars in.

Even though Bang Chan did not appear in Tzuyu's "ME!" music video, the male idol can be heard singing the lines that Brendon Urie (of Panic! at the Disco) originally sung as the featuring artist.

TWICE Tzuyu's "ME!" music video starts with the idol staring at herself in the mirror and begins singing the first line of the song.

The inspiration from the original MV for Taylor Swift's "ME!" can then be seen in the video as TWICE Tzuyu wears a white suit and shows a confident energy.

TWICE Tzuyu later gives a tour of various scenes such as a phone booth, a cinema, an amusement park, and a party.

As of press time, TWICE Tzuyu's "ME!" music video already garnered over 2.3 million YouTube views with more than 650,000 likes.

In the comment section, fans poured their support for the female idol. ONCEs (TWICE's fan club) from all over the world even trended the hashtag "#TZUYU_MELODY_PROJECT" on Twitter. It is currently trending at No. 2 in Vietnam and No. 27 in Thailand.

TWICE Tzuyu Donates Equipment to Help Taiwan during COVID-19 Pandemic

In other news, TWICE's youngest member, Tzuyu, was revealed to be one of the donors of the air-purifying respirators to the hospitals in her home country, Taiwan.

In a recent Instagram post, Taiwanese model Janet Chia, who has been busy organizing donation drives, TWICE Tzuyu donated a total of 50 air-purifying respirators.

The model added that Tzuyu, who celebrated her 22nd birthday on June 14, stated that giving donations was part of her birthday wish.

This is not the first time that TWICE member Tzuyu showed her support to combat COVID-19.

In March last year, the "Alcohol-Free" singer donated a total of 50 million won to the Community Chest for Korea.

Her management company, JYP Entertainment, also donated 500 million won (about 416,557 USD) to the Community Chest of Korea. This donation was used for purchasing medical supplies like masks and anti-contamination suits, as well as for providing personal sanitation items to low-income families.

Meanwhile, Tzuyu, alongside her fellow TWICE members are currently promoting their new album "Taste of Love" with the title track "Alcohol-Free."

So far, TWICE has already taken home four trophies with "Alcohol-Free" in different music shows in South Korea. Their recent victory is on the June 27 episode of SBS's "Inkigayo." This is the group's second time to win on "Inkigayo." TWICE previously won two times on Mnet's "M Countdown."
