On the June 29 episode of the JTBC program "Sea of Hope," BLACKPINK Rosé performed a cover of John Mayer's popular hit single, "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room."
The idol's cover of the song captivated the attention of the fellow singers in the room, such as SHINee Onew and AKMU Lee Suhyun, and the actors and actresses present, such as Lee Dong Wook and Kim Go Eun.
In addition, the video of Rosé's performance was shared to the official YouTube channel of "Sea of Hope," and the clip soon garnered over a million views.

Following the broadcast, American singer-songwriter John Mayer took to Instagram to share a clip from Rosé's performance to his Stories. He not only gave the K-pop idol a shoutout, but he also praised her cover of his song, saying it was gorgeous.
The American singer added a swipe-up link to his Stories so that his followers could easily find where to watch Rosé's cover of "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room."
The "On The Ground" singer shared John Mayer's Instagram Story to her own. She expressed disbelief that the original singer of "Slow Dancing In A Burning Room" not only watched her cover but shared it to his social media accounts and even asks someone to pinch her!

BLACKPINK Rosé 2021 Activities
BLACKPINK will be releasing their film, "BLACKPINK - The Movie," in August 2021. The movie is part of their new project, "4 + 1," to celebrate BLACKPINK's fifth anniversary of their debut.
This is their second film, with the first being their documentary "BLACKPINK: Light Up The Sky."
