BoA to Appear as a Judge on Mnet's Upcoming Competition Show 'Street Woman Fighter'

BoA has been confirmed to take part in Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter" as one of the judges.

"Street Woman Fighter" is Mnet's first-ever female dance crew survival show. Eight dance crews that represent South Korea will participate in the program and compete with one another to become the No. 1 global K-dance crew.

The participants will showcase different genres of street dance including breakdancing, hip hop, locking, krumping, and waacking.

Producing Director Choi Jung Nam, who previously worked on "Hit the Stage," "Dancing 9," and "Somebody," will be directing Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter" with the aim to popularize the genres of female street dance.

BoA to Become One of the Judges on Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter"

According to an exclusive report from SPOTV NEWS on July 6, BoA will appear as a judge on Mnet's upcoming survival show," which will begin its broadcast in mid-August this year.

Mnet has since responded to the news and stated that BoA will indeed be one of the judges on "Street Woman Fighter."

BoA, also known as the "Star of Asia," is deemed as one of the best dancers in South Korea. She is recognized for perfectly digesting every genre, from slow dances to performances full of energy and power. Her impeccable know-how in dancing makes her a perfect judge on Mnet's survival show.

This is not the first time that BoA was chosen as one of the judges in a competition show.

Previously, the "Only One" singer acted as a judge in many audition programs including "K-pop Star," "Voice Korea 2020," and "The Fan." She is known to give cool judgments and warm support to the contestants.

She even appeared on the second season of Mnet's "Produce 101" as one of the mentors to the trainees.

Although it has been more than 20 years since her debut, expectations are still growing on how well will BoA do on Mnet's "Street Woman Fighter."

Meanwhile, Kang Daniel was previously revealed to act as a host on Mnet's upcoming survival show. This will be his first time to be a fixed MC for a television program.

BoA Celebrates 20th Debut Anniversary with the Release of Her Tenth Studio Album "Better"

In December last year, BoA dropped a new studio album, entitled "Better," to celebrate her 20th debut anniversary. The album contains a total of 11 songs, including the title track of the same name.

The title song, "Better," is an R&B dance track that features a sample of AWA's "Like I Do." Yoo Young Jin took part in composing and writing the lyrics for this song.
