Former 2NE1 Member CL Signs With Kang Daniel's Label KONNECT Entertainment for Domestic Management
On July 10, KST, KONNECT Entertainment, a label founded by Kang Daniel, announced that they had signed former 2NE1 member CL as an artist. "We will be responsible for the management of CL's domestic activities. We will actively support CL so that she can carry out her music activities as a top-notch musician," said KONNECT Entertainment.
CL, who made her debut as a member and leader of 2NE1 back in 2009, has exerted influence as a global artist by establishing her own team "Very Cherry," a team that has been "cherry-picked for CL and by CL" to lead and manage CL's activities.

While in South Korea, CL's activities and promotions will be managed by KONNECT Entertainment, while the "Wish You Were Here" singer's overseas activities will be handled by Scooter Braun's record label, School Boy Records.
In addition, KONNECT Entertainment will be managing CL's promotions for "ALPHA," her first full-length album that has been postponed since November 30, 2020.
Founded back in June 2019, KONNECT Entertainment has grown rapidly, thanks to Kang Daniel, and quickly established a professional music production system that provided meaningful results with each album they release.
