BTS has been announced as one of the performers at an upcoming 24-hour concert, "Global Citizen Live," which will be broadcast live around the world.
On July 13, Global Citizen, an international advocacy organization, announced that they will be holding a worldwide concert that will air for 24 hours across six contents through various platforms. BTS is just one of the many performing artists at the event.
"Global Citizen Live" will be conducted to raise awareness and seek big-donor funds (particularly from world leaders, corporations, privileged business leaders, and more) to support those who are experiencing poverty, mobilize COVID-19 vaccine doses, and fight against climate change.
Where to Watch BTS at the "Global Citizen Live" Concert?
The worldwide "Global Citizen Live" concert will take place across six continents, particularly North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Asia, and Africa.
The major cities where the event will be held are Los Angeles, New York City, London, Sydney, Paris, Seoul, Rio, and Lagos.

According to Global Citizen, the broadcast will be mostly live throughout the 24-hour "Global Citizen Live" concert, which can be enjoyed at New York's Central Park, Champ de Mars in Paris, and more.
However, potential live audiences for each location depend on the cities' COVID-19 restrictions on the day of the event.
In addition to "21st-century Pop Icon" BTS, some of the other artists to take part in the "Global Citizen Live" concert are Ed Sheeran, The Weeknd, Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Shawn Mendes, Demi Lovato, Lizzo, Doja Cat, Metallica, Coldplay, the Queens, and Adam Lambert. Additional performers will be revealed on Aug. 6.

ARMYs across the globe who would like to watch BTS perform at "Global Citizen Live" can tune into the concert via YouTube, Twitter, Hulu, ABC, ABC News Live, Disney, and FX.
Fans in North America can also watch it via iHeartRadio. Additionally, BBC will broadcast the concert live for six hours. Further information about the broadcast will be announced on Aug. 3.
The "Global Citizen Live" concert, featuring BTS, will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25.
BTS Butter Remains No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 for Seven Straight Weeks
On July 12 local time, Billboard revealed that BTS's "Butter" had claimed the No. 1 spot on the Hot 100 chart, a weekly ranking of the most prominent songs in the United States.

This is the seventh consecutive time that "Butter" ranked first on the Billboard chart, extending its record as the longest-running No. 1 song by an Asian artist on Hot 100 in history.
Moreover, BTS Butter continues to be the track with the longest No. 1 peak from its debut on Billboard Hot 100 by any group aside from Boyz II Men and Mariah Carey's "One Sweet Day" in 1995.
"Butter" also topped the World Digital Song Sales chart for the seventh time and was the top-selling song of the week ending on July 17.
BTS Butter also entered the Pop Airplay chart, securing the No. 10 spot. The song becomes the group's second Top 10 on the Top-40 chart, with the first one being "Dynamite" at No. 5.
