TWICE now has the most songs with 200 million streams on MelOn, the largest streaming platform in South Korea.
On July 16, one of TWICE's hit songs reached 200 million streams on MelOn. This is not the first time that the nine-member girl group to attain this feat, making them the K-pop girl group with the most songs to score the mark.

TWICE's latest song to cross 200 million streams on MelOn is their 2018 summer song "Dance the Night Away."

"Dance the Night Away," which was written by singer Wheesung, is the title track of TWICE's repackaged album "Summer Nights," released on July 9. It is an up-tempo pop song that displays the youth of the members.
In March 2019, TWICE's "Dance the Night Away" exceeded 100 million streams and 2,500,000 downloads on Gaon Chart, earning the girl group their first-ever platinum certification for both streaming and download categories.
In Japan, "Dance the Night Away" was certified silver for reaching 30,000,000 streams.

Going back to MelOn, TWICE's "Dance the Night Away" is now the group's third song to hit 200 million streams on the platform. The first two tracks are "Cheer Up" and "TT."
TWICE is now the K-pop girl group with the most songs having 200 million streams on MelOn - with three tracks as of July 16.
Previously, the JYP girl group was tied with BLACKPINK with two songs. BLACKPINK's songs to reach the 200-million mark are "DDU-DU DDU-DU" and "As If It's Your Last."
The only other K-pop girl group to obtain this milestone is Red Velvet with "Red Flavor."

TWICE's "What Is Love?" Re-Enters iTunes Charts after Becoming Popular on TikTok
In the past few days, TWICE's "What Is Love?" is again garnering attention after two years since it was dropped in April 2018.
"What Is Love?" is recently going viral on the short-video sharing platform, TikTok. The track is currently a trending sound on the platform, with more than 900,000 videos using it as the music.
Following this, TWICE's "What Is Love?" re-entered the iTunes charts in numerous countries across the globe.

On July 13, "What is Love?" charted inside the Top 5 in Brazil, Chile, Peru, the Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Colombia, and Thailand. It also rose to Nos. 6 and 7 in the United Arab Emirates and Malaysia, respectively.
Singapore, Indonesia, Sweden, Bolivia, Spain, Mexico, Turkey, Canada, and the United States are the other countries where TWICE's "What Is Love?" is gaining popularity once again.
On the same day, "What Is Love" re-entered the Worldwide iTunes Song chart, rising to No. 41.
This week ending on July 17, TWICE's "What Is Love?" climbed to No. 13 on the list of Top TikTok Songs.
Since their 2018 hit is re-entering iTunes charts, TWICE released a series of videos where two members per video danced to the song.
The post included hashtags "#WhatIsLoveRecharting," and "#ForONCE."
