YG Entertainment revealed that another TREASURE member tested positive for COVID-19, following Doyoung.
On July 13, YG Entertainment announced that TREASURE Doyoung was confirmed positive for COVID-19. After three days, another member of the rookie boy group was diagnosed with the same virus.
YG Entertainment Reveals TREASURE Junghwan Had Tested Positive for COVID-19
On July 16, YG Entertainment released an official statement announcing that TREASURE Junghwan has gotten a positive result for coronavirus.

The company shared that TREASURE member Junghwan was constantly checking his health through a diagnostic kit during his self-quarantine, and on this day, July 16, the result came out positive.
TREASURE, as well as YG Entertainment's staff, started self-isolation on July 13 when member Doyoung tested positive for COVID-19 ahead of an advertisement filming.
At that time, there were no additional confirmed cases, until today that Junghwan has become the second TREASURE member to test positive for coronavirus.
So far, the other TREASURE members and staff have all received negative results from their latest tests.
YG Entertainment further stated that they are taking preemptive measures more thorough than what is advised in the guidelines made by the health authorities.

The agency concluded that they will provide follow-up information quickly and accurately once there will be any changes in the health status of TREASURE members and their staff.
Meanwhile, an exclusive report from News1 stated that TREASURE Jihoon will not be attending the "Inkigayo" broadcast this week as he is in self-quarantine.
Ahn Yujin and NCT Sungchan, who are co-hosts of Jihoon, will be the only ones to appear as MCs on the July 18 broadcast of "Inkigayo."

TREASURE "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" Becomes the Boy Group's Third-Longest-Running Album on Gaon Chart
For the week ending on July 10, TREASURE's "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" climbed down to No. 89 on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart in its 26th week.
Despite this, "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" is now TREASURE's third-longest-running album on the Gaon Chart, surpassing "THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER THREE," which stayed on the chart for 20 weeks.
The album is close to becoming the boy group's second-longest-running work on the Gaon Chart. The current holder of this record is "THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER TWO" with 28 weeks.
In addition to this, TREASURE's "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" has received a platinum certification from Gaon Chart this past March after having more than 250,000 shipments in Korea.

Alongside "THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT," the boy group's debut album "THE FIRST STEP: CHAPTER ONE" was also certified platinum in March.
Because of this, TREASURE becomes the only 2020 rookie group with multiple platinum certifications from Gaon.
"THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" is TREASURE's first-ever full-length album, and it comprises 12 tracks in total, including the title song "My Treasure."
The full-length album did not only rank first on the Gaon Weekly Album Chart but also on Gaon's monthly ranking for January 2021.
"THE FIRST STEP: TREASURE EFFECT" also topped the weekly rankings of Billboard Japan Hot Albums and Oricon Chart.
