In a Spotify playlist made by Alan Walker called "W47K3R5_J01N," which features a hundred songs hand-picked by the producer and DJ, he also shares with fans his current favorite K-Pop songs from BTS, TWICE, and more.
BTS - "Butter," "Serendipity," and "Dionysus"
One of Alan Walker's favorite songs is "Butter" by BTS! The song is the seven-member group's second English single and is a mix of dance-pop, disco-pop, and EDM. Characterized by 1980s and 1990s influences, "Butter" doesn't really contain a deep message as compared to BTS' other songs, as "Butter" is meant to be a summer song that is easy to listen to.

"Butter" was also a success on numerous charts - with its most notable achievement being No.1 for seven weeks in a row on Billboard's major singles chart, Hot 100.
Not only that, but "Butter" also broke an amazing five Guinness World Records upon its release, including most viewers for a premiere of a Youtube video, most viewers for a premiere of a music video on Youtube, most viewed Youtube video by a K-Pop group in 24 hours, most viewed Youtube video in 24 hours, and most streamed song on Spotify in the first 24 hours.
Alan Walker also loves "Dionysus" and Jimin's solo song, "Serendipity."
ITZY - "Wannabe"
Alan Walker's favorite ITZY song is "Wannabe"! The song, which is a mix of hip-hop, bubblegum pop, and house, was a success on music charts. It entered eight music charts around the world, with "Wannabe" peaking at No.4 on Billboard's World Digital Songs chart.

TWICE - "Alcohol-Free," "I Can't Stop Me, and "Cry For Me"
TWICE's latest release, "Alcohol-Free" is also a favorite of the DJ. The TWICE summer song is a bossa nova track that features hip-hop elements, and talks about the magical moments one experiences while falling in love.
Thanks to "Alcohol-Free," TWICE's album "Taste of Love," spent more than three weeks on Billboard 200, making the JYP Entertainment girl group's longest-charting album, as well as being the first album by a K-Pop girl group released in 2021 to have done so on the charts.

Another TWICE favorites are "I Can't Stop Me" and "Cry For Me."
BLACKPINK Rosé - "On The Ground"
Alan Walker is also a fan of Rosé's debut lead single "On The Ground." Co-written by the Rosé, "On The Ground" is a mix of electro-pop, pop, pop-rock, synth-pop elements, and is EDM-inspired.
The song was a huge success both domestic and overseas, and entered more than 15 charts worldwide. It topped Billboard's Global 200, as well as peak at No.70 on Hot 100, No.14 on Euro Digital Songs, and at No.43 on UK's Singles chart. In South Korea, "On The Ground" peaked at No.4 on Gaon.
Not only that, but Rosé also became a "half-million" seller with her debut album, "R." Accumulating 587,818 albums sold in the mid-year compilation.
She also broke two Guinness World Records, such as being the first artist to reach a number one a Billboard Global chart as a soloist while being part of a group, and having the most viewed Youtube music video by a K-Pop soloist in the first 24 hours.

ASTRO - "Knock"
The last K-Pop song that is Alan Walker's favorite is ASTRO's "Knock." The song is part of the group's seventh mini-album, "Gateway," released in 2020.
The song was written by fellow ASTRO members Jinjin and Rocky and peaked at No.1 on Gaon, as well as at No.3 on the Japanese chart, Oricon.
