The number of YouTube views for TWICE's "What is Love?" music video has been going up in the past few weeks as the K-pop song receives more attention on TikTok.
On July 26, K-pop Radar released an analysis of the MV views of "What is Love?" as of July compared to June.
They revealed that the music video saw a significant surge in daily views on YouTube as the 2018 track becomes a hot topic on the social app nowadays.

According to K-pop Radar, TWICE "What is Love?" dance cover challenge on the app is being recognized more these days.

In the past four days, there are more than 500,000 views created with "What is Love?" used as the soundtrack on TikTok. And, the total number of views of the hashtag "#WhatisLove" has exceeded 67.35 million.
So far, a total of 2,500,000 videos using TWICE's "What is Love?" as the background music was already made on the platform.
As more users of the platform join the craze, the music video for the song is also garnering more attention over the past few weeks.

K-pop Radar said that TWICE's "What is Love?" MV views per day were tripled compared to its record 30 days ago.
On July 22, the music video for "What is Love" attained the highest peak in 90 days. It is also the highest number of daily YouTube views since 2019 when the views started to reduce.
On that day, TWICE's "What is Love?" music video recorded approximately 810,000 views.
In fact, the 2018 hit is getting more daily hits than the band's latest song "Alcohol-Free," which was released this past June.
As of July 26 at 11 a.m. KST, TWICE's "What is Love?" music video has gathered over 525.98 million views with 4.9 million likes.

Apart from the music video, the digital release of the song also showed a reverse run on music charts, particularly on iTunes.
As of July 15, "What is Love?" climbed to No. 2 on iTunes Song charts in Colombia, the Philippines, and Thailand. It also entered the Top 10 in 13 countries including Brazil, Chile, Saudi Arabia, Peru, and Vietnam.

TWICE's Certifications for What is Love? Received from Gaon and Oricon Charts
"What is Love?" is the title song for TWICE's fifth mini-album of the same name and was penned and composed by J.Y. Park.
This 2018 song is the girl group's third work to be certified platinum in the streaming category on the Gaon Chart, after reaching 100 million streams.
"What is Love?" has also been certified platinum in the download category on Gaon for obtaining 2.5 million downloads.
TWICE's "What is Love?" also earned a silver streaming certification for scoring 30 million streams on the Oricon Chart in Japan. It was later certified gold for hitting 50 million streams.
