It's about time for Plants Vs Zombies 2 to happen, thus PopCap Games has recently announced the release of Plants Vs Zombies 2: It's About Time.

After almost three years since the launching of the original iPhone app for Plants Vs Zombies, fans and players of the game will now be able to enjoy the latest offering from PopCap Games, as they defend one's house from the waves of zombies all set to attack and invade.

With Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time, players can enjoy new ways to protect the house as they built a botanical fortification on the front yard. Developers of Plants Vs Zombies shared through a press release:

"Designed from the ground up as a live service, the ever-expanding universe of Plants vs. Zombies 2 continues the epic struggle of plants defending your brainz against zombies from your backyard through the vast reaches of time, both past and future."

Players should expect a lot of new and amazing things on the forthcoming Plants Vs Zombies 2: It's About Time iOS app as the developers promise "new worlds with new levels, plants, zombies and new ways to play will be released on an ongoing basis."

The press release for the Plants Vs Zombies 2: It's About Time also stated, "Leveraging the touch interface of Apple's popular mobile devices, Plants vs. Zombies 2 includes all-new touch-screen power-ups that enable players to "break the fourth wall" and interact with zombies directly, as well as via plant defenses."

Allen Murray, the Senior Producer for Plants Vs Zombies 2 positively quoted in the press release,
