Another new K-pop girl group will be making their debut this 2021 under a newly established entertainment company, called KM Entertainment.
On July 30 at noon KST, KM Entertainment released a video and image showing the name of their upcoming girl group.
New K-pop Girl Group to Debut in August as the First Idol Group of KM Entertainment
In the video and image uploaded to the group's official social media accounts, it can be seen that the upcoming girl group will be called "ICHILLIN'."
The clip also shows the official logo of the new K-pop group, which comprises a "1" and "C."
The name "ICHILLIN'" is a compound word of "AISLING," an Irish term meaning "a vision" or "a dream," and "CHILLIN'," which is another word for "relaxing."
When combined, the meaning of "ICHILLIN'" is that the listeners will feel relaxed when they listen to the girl group's songs.

In addition to this, the first "I" in the name of the new K-pop girl group means that the members will gather to gather to become one.
Reports say that KM Entertainment's upcoming girl group will be composed of seven members, and they are set to debut in August.
KM Entertainment will reveal the members' profiles and various content related to their debut at a later date.

New K-pop Girl Groups that Made Their Debut This 2021, So Far
In the first half of 2021, several companies have debuted new K-pop girl groups. One of them is TRI.BE.
TRI.BE, was co-created by Shinsadong Tiger and Universal Music Group. Comprising seven girls, the group made their debut on Feb. 17 with their first single album, "Tri.be Da Loca." The songs in the album were co-produced by Shinsadong Tiger and EXID LE.

The next new K-pop girl group to debut this 2021 is PIXY, formed by ALLART Entertainment. The band is made up of six members, namely Dia, Ella, Lola, Sua, Satbyeol, and Dajeong.
Ella is a former member of Cherry Bullet under the stage name "Mirae," while Satbyeol was previously part of Girls' Alert.
PIXY released their first digital single, "Wings," on Feb. 24. In May, they made their first comeback with their first EP, "Bravery."
Next is RBW's PURPLE KISS. The band has seven members: Dosie, Ireh, Chaein, Jieun, Goeun, Yuki, and Swan.
PURPLE KISS dropped their debut album, "Into Violet" in March. Prior to their debut, they released the singles "My Heart Skip a Beat" and "Can We Talk Again."

After RBW's new girl group is HOT ISSUE, a new female act under S2 Entertainment. The band is composed of seven members, namely Nahyun, Dana, Mayna, Hyeongshin, Yebin, Dain, and Yewon.
"HOT ISSUE" stands for "Honest," "Outstanding," and "Terrific" and conveys the group's strong desire to make honest and great issues in the K-pop scene.
The septet dropped their first EP, "Issue Maker," on April 28. It consists of five tracks, including the title song "Gratata."
Finally, CUBE Entertainment debuted LIGHTSUM on June 10. The new K-pop girl group released their first single album, "Vanilla."
