Candy Crush Saga: King's Mobile Guru Answers Why The Game Is So Addicting and Popular, New Game Episode Pearly White Plains Included on Latest Update

If you have not updated your Candy Crush game app yet, do it now. New episode is released opening up some more levels in the popular puzzle game, Candy Crush Saga.

Currently, Candy Crush Saga already offers a total of 309 very challenging levels.

Recently last week, a new update for Candy Crush saga app was issued for millions of fans around the world who are so addicted to playing the game and finishing each level. The latest update added more levels and this recent news created online excitement from a lot of Candy Crush fans.

Candy Crush is now enjoying its 'Angry Bird' moment, being the top-grossing game application from Itunes for several weeks already as well one of the top five free apps on the store.

Why is the game so this popular then?

Tommy Palm, the Mobile Guru for the game's developer, King, said in an interview to ABC News, "The core thing with Candy Crush is that it is available on multiple platforms, and ... there is the social side. It's something you can do with friends and family - that's something we see a lot of."

The game is free to play and download but there are in-game items that players can buy from the App store. For instance, five additional lives can be given to players immediately if they purchased one set of it for 1.99 USD. But additional lives can be acquired for free either by waiting for 30 minutes to get one new life or by sending Facebook requests to friends. Other additional weapons that can help surpassed a certain difficult level much faster is available for $39.99.

Candy Crush is played by more than 15.5 million users everyday and Jon Nickson from Twitter (@jonno08) shared, "Developing an addiction to a game i said i would never play - damn you Candy Crush Saga and your addictive gameplay."

The game is not only popular as an iOS game app as it is also one of the top apps for Android users through Google Play. Furthermore, the game is also the number one online game in the giant social media network, Facebook, beating Farmville 2 and Texas Holdem Poker of Zynga.
