BTS "Dynamite" music video surpassed 1.2 billion YouTube views on the night of August 6.
Because of this, the track is now the third BTS music video that reached the milestone. It follows "DNA" and "Boy With Luv (featuring Halsey)," both of which have surpassed 1.3 billion views. It is an increase of around 100 million views each month.
Released on August 21, 2020, "Dynamite" has a light disco pop genre and contains BTS' message of hope to everyone during difficult times of the pandemic. It is considered a song of healing.
BTS 'Dynamite' Exceeds 1.2 Billion Views
"Dynamite" is so far the fastest Korean group music video that reached 1.2 billion views. It broke the record of one year and 10 months that was held previously by BLACKPINK's "Kill This Love." This is BTS's third music video that reached this milestone after "DNA" and "Boy With Luv."
The song recorded the longest charting record for a Korean group by charting for around 32 weeks. It included two consecutive weeks on the US Billboard's "Hot 100" chart and then climbing up to three times in their career.
"Dynamite" also exceeded the cumulative 1 billion streaming on spotify. The Korean boy group is the only one to have this record.

BTS Achievement in Acha Rankings
Korean idol group also topped the Acha Rankings for the last week of July 2021.
In the latest idol chart released on August 7, the 4th week of July 2021 Acha Rankings show that BTS has taken the first place with a score of 13,176 points. It includes 1,502 music scores, 9,756 YouTube scores, and 1,908 social scores.
After their Billboard success, BTS proved once again their worldwide popularity. They lined up "Butter" and "Permission to Dance" on Oricon weekly charts in Japan for four consecutive weeks.
"Butter" ranked on the first place while "Permission to Dance" ranked second on the chart of July 19. Then the songs switched places, respectively, and ranked there for three weeks, consecutively.
BTS Spreads Good Influence Worldwide
BTS has gathered over 34 billion-viewed music videos. And with their worldwide popularity, they will probably reach a new milestone.
Because of this fame a lot of collaborations with international stars are on the line for them.
Also, ARMYs are suggesting collaboration with some music legends like Elton John and they are very excited for it.

At the same time, BTS will once again be talking to the United Nations. The Korean boy group has been appointed as the "Special Presidential Envoy for Future Generations and Culture" by the South Korean President Moon Jae In.
Right after that, the Korean group will be attending the United Nations General Assembly that will take place in September this year.
