Bouncer Accused Of Killing Three Co-Workers Who Pranked Him, Charged With Murder: Boss Says Suspect’s Behavior Out Of Character

A 31-year-old bouncer accused of killing three of his co-workers was was charged with first-degree felony murder, reports the Daily Mail.

The bouncer’s boss, shocked at the incident said it was out of character for Andrew Joseph Lobban to do the crime.

According to Lobban’s boss, he’s quiet and reserved, “If he said 10 words to you during his shift, he said a lot,” he told the Star Banner.

Lobban allegedly took issue with a video his colleagues had taken of him being fooled in a prank.

The men all worked as bouncers at the Ocala Entertainment Complex and just came from a local shooting range.

Last Saturday, the joke came up again while the four men were out drinking.

Lobban cracked over the practical joke then shot dead three of his colleagues, according to police.

The shooting happened at 1 AM outside local bar AJ’s when the men were on their way to another location.

David Rutherford, who was at the bar when the shooting happened, said “All you hear is the bouncer yelling. ‘Get back,’” speaking to WKMG.

“It was hard not knowing what was going on. You peek out and you see guys laying on the ground,” he added.

Witnesses point to Lobban as the lone gunman in the shooting.

After the bouncer killed his three colleagues, he was allegedly seen heading north, and was arrested by police later that morning at his girlfriend’s house in Silver Spring Shores.

The victims of the shooting were Benjamin Larz Howard, 23, of Belleview; Jerry Bynes, Jr. 20; Josue Santiago, 25, both from Ocala.

All three were shot in the head. Two of the victims were reported dead on the scene while one was later pronounced dead at the hospital.

Loban admitted to the shooting and claims he dumped a 9mm pistol and a black t-shirt in a nearby dumpster, according to an affidavit.

Both the pistol and shirt were discovered by investigators.

The suspect said he only intended to shoot Santiago, and the other victims were accidents.

Jerry Bynes, Jr. and Josue Santiago, two of the victims, were fathers of young children.

Santiago, whose dream was to have own his own club someday, leaves behind two young children – a son and a 2-month-old daughter.
