AKMU Lee Suhyun Reveals Displeasure Over Hate Comment Concerning Her Visuals on Instagram Story
On August 10, AKMU member Lee Suhyun set up a question-and-answer through her Instagram story, taking time to answer fans' questions and comments.
Unfortunately, on this day, Lee Suhyun, who was sincerely answering various questions from her followers, encountered a hate comment concerning her appearance.
The hate comment reads, "Ugly ahjumma (t/n: aunt) Suhyun, stop pretending to be good-looking."

Lee Suhyun decided to take the time to respond to the comment, saying that she usually ignores these kinds of statements but became upset. She says that perhaps she got upset because she is too young and included a crying emoticon (also known as an emoji) in her statement.
"I do not know if you think we will not see these kinds of comments or if you want us to see it, but we see everything more than you think," Lee Suhyun reveals.
The idol expressed concern over these kinds of comments, saying that many artists, unlike her, are not good at ignoring such hateful and malicious statements.

Lee Suhyun stated that she would just move on from the comment since she hates it so much.
However, she asks the user to no longer send such hateful comments.
The idol even takes time to comfort the person who left the malicious comment, telling them to stop spreading hurtful words because they are too precious of a person.
Many who saw her response to the hate comments praised the idol for her kindness despite the harsh words thrown at her. Lee Suhyun was commended for having a big heart and her strong mentality.
