Singer Kang Daniel and BLACKPINK member Lisa achieved first place in the Hall of Fame cumulative rankings. Their achievement is thanks to the never-ending support of fans in the idol popularity ranking service "Best Idol." They were named "71st Donation Angels". The "Best Idol" is a ranking service made through active voting from July 12 to August 10.
On August 11, Choi Ae-dol stated that Kang Daniel has taken the first place in the cumulative male individual category for around 2 years in a row, and then he became a donation angel. Kang Daniel received approximately 2984 points out of 3000. He has donated around 76 times until now, with 41 donation angels and 35 donation fairy. The total amount he donated sums up to 38 million won or $33,174.

Kang Daniel and BLACKPINK Lisa as the New Donation Angels
Last July 25, Kang Daniel released a teaser video for KANGDANIEL 2nd OFFICIAL FANCLUB KIT and then showed off his exhilarating beauty, therefore winning a lot of cheers from the fans. Today, Kang Daniel was also listed as the "Favorite Idol" Donation Fairy to commemorate the 2nd anniversary of his solo debut. Kang Daniel will also appear as an MC in "Street Woman Fighter," which will be showing on August 24th.
While in the female individual category, BLACKPINK's Lisa achieved the first place in the cumulative ranking for four consecutive months since May 2021. Lisa got a score of 2981 out of 3000. She achieved the donation angel 12 times and the donation fairy at least 8 times up until now. She has donated 10 million won or $8730 a total of 20 times.
BLACKPINK celebrated its 5th debut anniversary last August 8, will have a POP-UP exhibition from the 21st. The exhibition, which was organized according to the concept of all the songs that BLACKPINK released since their debut. It will be conducted through an online reservation system. BLACKPINK recently hit a streak when the choreography video for "How You Like That" reached 800 million views on YouTube.

What is in store for the Donation Angels?
When it comes to the rankings for the last 30 days, Choi Ae-dol selects a donation angel if it achieves 1st place, then a donation fairy if it gets more than 55,555,555 votes on different anniversaries. Lisa and Kang Daniel, who became the donor angels, donated 500,000 won or $436.50 each in their own names to the Milal Welfare Foundation as a fund for the disabled who are quarantined because of the COVID-19. The approximate donation amount of the favorite idol reached 253 million won or $220869.
Furthermore, since January of this year, "Subway CM Board Advertisement" has been running for the idol who received the title of donation angels. Advertisements for Kang Daniel and Lisa can be viewed at the Express Bus Terminal Station starting on August 30.
At the same time, BTS Jimin ranked 2nd in the overall cumulative ranking for men while BTS V got 3rd place. For women, BLACKPINK Jisoo achieved 2nd place, and BLACKPINK Rose was given 3rd place.
